Porsche Smith - The BreakUP Mixtape

A very nice mixtape/LP for the lovers of anything soulful. This found me at the perfect time as I was trying to stay focused and complete some odd jobs in the day. This is such a nice listen I actually played it through twice in a row. Very nice vibes on this one. My only question now is... does anyone know how to get in contact with Porsche??

Love Exposure - Ackryte, Broke & Repeat Pattern

Words from the trio's Bandcamp...

"Love Exposure is the result of a great collaboration between Ackryte (USA) , Broke (USA) and Repeat Pattern (Japan). Two Beatmakers and one MC/Beatmaker to set fire to your ears! This splendid album will allow you to smoothly enter the extraordinary atmosphere that is this exclusively fresh album. A passion for Jazz and Beats brought together by these three young artists to build this project that restores all the letters of nobility to HipHop and Rap! It's a gift that the Cascade Records family wanted to give to you for this years end, which is also a foretelling of the year to come (we have a lot of cool upcoming projects!). Real shit is alive cats!! Thanks guys, support it!"

Fun With Dumb - Dumbfoundead & DJ Zo

Chaundon - Baby Making Music

Excellent album!! Not much more to say on this one. My personal favorites have to be 'We Don't Need' and 'Husky' which is a very well executed concept. That said, the whole LP is pretty flawless.

Melodiq - Straight From The Soul - Prod Terem

I have to give props to Melodiq as I've known of his music from the golden days of Soundclick's reign. Since then I've seen and heard him collab with heads like 20syl (another I first heard old soundclick, now known all over the world with his band 'Hocus Pocus'. Yep, him), Pat D & Lady Paradox, Shinobi & The Civil Mics Movement. To name a few. All production here is done by the French veteran that is Terem. I've been checking for him for a good few years now and I can say that if you're into your Hip Hop soul, Jazz, Funk etc etc etc... you'll enjoy these backing tracks as Melodiq brings with his clear, easy to follow and undiluted honest expression with features from artists from the U.S and Europe.

Sinuous - Throwbacks

Artist/Producer, Sinuous laces us with 'Throwbacks' which is a collection of tracks that he say's "..didn't make the official releases...", and wow what a collection. This brotha has been one of my favorite producers/artists since I first stumbled upon his music three or so years ago. For me Sinuous takes Hip Hop/Jazz to a new level by keeping a classic Jazz feel as well as keeping the head nodding raw Hip Hop elements without compromising either ingredient. For an example see In The Lab pt2 featuring Sinuous building beats in his studio. Otherwise download 'Throwbacks' via the links below ...I highly recommend this one!!

I named this project "The Sound Of Colours" because in a nutshell i see an overwhelming colour somewhere in my mind whenever i hear any music. So if that is the colour of sound, then this is the Sound Of Colours. This is my latest material and is a precursor to a new album i am working on now. These tracks are some of my favourite ive ever made. I try to supply a cross section of mood and feeling when i put together a project as well as open up content so the songs arent all about the same subject and i have covered that here. I kept the bulk of the project free so anyone and everyone can share this. The idea is let you take this and do what you want with it and if you like the sound of the other tracks and or you want to support me then there are 5 tracks which you can also buy for a dirt cheap price. I can assure you every sale means something! I sincerely hope you enjoy, beginning to end, and hit me up at Jack Flash @facebook with feedback and questions. Peace

MOWGLI - 93 ALBUM PREVIEW

Funky DL 'Back To Frank' (Amy Winehouse flip)

This is an excellent project, DL basically flipped Amy Winehouse's 'Frank' album. This is genuis right from the title 'Back To Frank' all the way through to the outro. The funky one not only samples the music but he has various vocal parts included as a part of the each songs concept or as a chorus. After my listen I had to go and give the man his props, especially after hearing 'But That's Not Me' which my favorite at the moment. DL tells me "..tried to do something creative, but leave it open to everyones imagination what the scenario is or ends up to be". I say he did just that.

Check this out and let the brotha know your thoughts on his myspace blog
