Toofless - Perspective [ FREE DOWNLOAD }

Big shout to DJ Solo who sent this over around about an hour ago. It's a new release from his Dubai based label, 'Another Music'. Toofless drops 'Perspective' ft Capone (of CNN) over a Dub Poets Collective production. They've given it the full treatment as far a as single goes so you can expect the original version, a reprise, the instrumental, as well as the bonus 'Lost Days' track and instrumental, again produced by the DPC. Ishkan - Confluent Des Presages

Big up to my Sistren Gyspy Eyes for putting me on to this one as she is continuiously spreading the love and sharing/promoting music from artists all over the globe. This time she was telling me about Ishkan from Canada who comes with a nice base driven Jazzhop number. I'll keep my ears out for this brotha in future as I'm liking what I'm hearing!

Camp America - Intuition & Dreams

Something very different here. I actually went and listened to the 'Powerskills' track after Savvy aka Asaviour posted it up on Facebook and the design of the page took me back some years and made me think of thing like Amstrad or Atari. Once you hear some of Camp America's music you kind of get the vibe via audio as well. I can't say this whole LP is for me, but it found me at a time when I wanted to hear something completely different. That said, you can't ignore the skills that have gone into making this project and the quality of the artists involved.

For all those who know me personally, you know that I started out as a Hip Hop DJ and producer in the mid 80s. The Beastie Boys were a massive influence on me as a DJ, a person, producer and writer. With the untimely death of MCA last week I wanted to pay tribute in the only way I know how. Remix some old Beastie Boys. Diligent Fingers - Therapy Sessions

If you don't know about Diligent Fingers's productions already then you have a lot of catching up to do and will most definitely have a good time doing it. This small batch of beats are just some of the instrumentals that Dil made while getting involved with The Beat Inn's weekly Therapy Chops session. You can even find a video or two of Dil talking you through the process of how some of these tracks were made. For now though, just sit back and enjoy the sounds of a very talented producer.

Black Budget Entertainment's head man drops his debut album in fine style with twenty one tracks of straight up Hip Hop. Just P gets extra props for being able to hold his own for the entire project without any features ..very rare these days! Deeflux & Louis Unseen - I Know

This is one of our newer releases coming from Deeflux & Unseen's '1984' album. 'I Know' which features Genesis Elijah & Gadget saw a fair bit of airplay via BBC radio and various podcasts and later Dee & Unseen went on to release it as single which included a video and the bonus track 'We Can't All Be Alone' featuring Greg Blackman. Found this lovely album while following a link off of 'The Beat Inn'. Really funky and down to earth vibes on this project. I'd recommend this to anyone give this a listen!

MoSiK - Blueberry Hill

I had never heard of 'MoSik' until this track. I was kind of lost in terms of info as there isn't much detail in the description section of this video, so I went to his Youtube home page and found he had recently featured on the BBC Asian Network where he battled (Freeza) on the 'Hype On The Mic' segment ..as well as drop a lot of information about himself via his lyrics or questions put to him.

I'm listening to this as I type, but it sounds like he's winning this battle...
